Five Security Fix on Tuesday
Microsoft issued five updates on Tuesday for Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Server 2003 and Microsoft Content Management Server. Four of the critical patches are for flaws that could lead to remote code execution which could allow hackers to take over a PC. Another one is a fix for animated cursors patch that released early April which cause some programs such as ElsterFormular, TUGZip, CD-Tag, and Realtek HD Audio Control Panel to stop working.
 
Microsoft Patch Cursor Bug
Microsoft release a critical patch on Tuesday to fix a bug that allow Windows PCs, including Vista, to be commandeer by attacker when user views a malicious Web site or e-mail message through vulnerabilitiy that lies in the way Windows handles animated cursors.

IE7 and FF Flaws
Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox Web browsers are both working on recently disclosed security flaws. Each browser flaw could enable data grab through malicious web site. One of Firefox flaw could allow attackers to change cookie files on user's PC.

For Internet Explorer, the flaw allow user's file to be open if the location of given file is already known. The same flaw also affected Firefox. Fix for Firefox is done and will be released with the next patch. Firefox users can install NoScript add-on to prevent code from running on Web sites.
